Chevy GMC Snowplow park/urn and hard lights can overload the vehicle electrical circuit when hazard lights flash for extended periods of tim~ or when the foot brake is activted with hazard lights flashing. GM recommends that a light harness and relays be installed for snowplow lighting. See your GM dealer for service bulletin #90-8A-20. Western also offers a Directional Harness Kit, # 61185.


Dodge 1994 and later vehicles with cab marker lights and/or dual rear wheels require the installation of 61185 Park or Turn Lamp Harness Kit in the park light circuit. This will prevent electrical overloading of the vehicle headlamp switch or wiring harness.


Ford • Cab marker lights require the use of a second 61185 Park or Turn Harness Kit installed in the cab marker/park light circuit. (Second 61185 sold separately.) NOTE: All 1997 and later Ford trucks require Kit #61185 for turn signals and cab marker lights if equipped
